Carpe che nuotano sulle magliette - Carps that swim on t-shirts

Domenica era la festa della mamma, ma noi abbiamo fatto la festicciola che rimandavamo da giovedì.

I bambini hanno pranzato insieme e giocato molto con spade, soldati e simili.

Per pranzo ho preparato  degli stuzzichini: wuster a forma di koinoori (cme nel pst precedente), bandiera giapponese di mozzarella e pomodoro (su pane e prosciutto) e le patatine dell’orso di Kintaro (Kintaro era cosi forte fin da piccolo che si dice cavalcasse un orso invece che un cavallo!).

E poi pizza koinobori e yakisoba pan.

Nel pomeriggio, dopo aver giocato un po’, hanno colorato una maglietta con un koinobori blu, una per ogni bambino, utilizzando uno stencil che ho ricavato io da un cartoncino.

Gli è piaciuto ed erano orgogliosi del proprio operato!

Prima di tornare a casa hanno voluto vedere un pezzo di un film, mangiando i biscotti a forma di koinobori e la torta a forma di kabuto (elmo di samurai giapponese). Per i biscotti ho usato la ricetta utilizzata a Pasqua per i coniglietti, mentre per la torta ho seguito una ricetta di una mamma bravissima .

Buoni sia biscotti che torta, sono piaciuti molto.

Quando i bambini sono tornati a casa hanno portato con sé la maglietta e una borsa fatta a koinobori con dentro biscotti e palloncini giapponesi di carta fatti a pesce.

Sembra che si siano divertiti e il pargolo era molto contento di avere i suoi amici a casa.

Sunday was mother’s day, but we actually had the small party we postponed from Tuesday.

The kids had lunch together and played a lot with swords, soldiers and all that stuffs.

For lunch I prepared some appetizers: sausage koinobori (as in the previous post), Japanese mozzarella and tomato flags (also with bread and ham) and Kintaro’s bear chips (Kintaro was so strong since he was a little boy that was believed to ride a bear instead of a horse!).

Then we had some koinobori shaped pizza and yakisoba pan.

In the afternoon, after they played for a while, they colored a blue koinobori on a  t-shirt, one for each boy, using a stencil I made out of cardboard.

They liked it a lot and were happy and proud of their job.

Before leaving they wanted to watch a little bit of a movie while eating koinobori cookies and kabuto (Japanese helmet) cake. For the cookies I followed the same recipe as for Easter bunnies. For the helmet cake I tried this recipe I found on Youtube, made by this great mum.

Both were good and they liked them a lot.

When they left they brought with the t-shirt and a koinobori shaped bag with some cookies and a Japanese fish shaped paper balloon.

It seemed like they had fun and the kid was very happy to have his friends over.
